Formally a hunting lodge constructed in circa 1769 for the then Marquise of Curemonte, this traditional stone cottage has been extended to provide a unique holiday destination in the medieval area of the Dordogne in the South West region of France, nestled between the Mid-Pyrenees and Bordeaux.

The accommodation sleeps five, consisting of two bedrooms. A master with king-size bed and balcony and a second bedroom with both a double and single bed. There is a lounge, dining area, kitchen, bathroom along with a large outdoor swimming pool and a gym complete with sauna and shower room.

La Marquisie is situated some 5km from the village of Curemonte which dates back to the 11th Century and 7km from the larger town of Beaulieu Sur Dordogne, translated meaning "Beautiful place on the river".

West are the towns of Collonges-le-Rouge known as the 'city of little castles' and Turenne, a 15th Century village surrounded by two castles.

To the South & East stretches the Dordorgne valley, home to the beautiful villages and towns of Loubressac, Autoire, Carennac & Martel, while the stunning citadel of Rocamadour is only 30 minutes drive away.
